Our Teachers
Here at Gingerbread Learning Center providing quality education, in a safe and fun environment is our priority. In order to accomplish this all of our teachers are certified in early childhood education, first-aid and CPR. Every teacher undergoes a background check, which includes fingerprinting, criminal records check, and education verification. Also, all of our teachers that transport children undergo a driving history check annually. Also, our teachers continue to enhance their credentials by taking additional training courses on a regular basis. Listed below is more information on our amazing management team.

Director: Karen Russell
Karen has worked in childcare since 1982, been a director since 2006, and our director since 2011. She has a national CDA and director credentials, as well as being CPR and first aid certified. Karen overseas all programs and ensures the safest possible environment for every child.
Lead Teacher: Jennifer Chambers
Jennifer has been working in childcare since high school. She has her CDA certification and is also certified in CPR and first aid. Jennifer enrolled her own child at Gingerbread Learning Center in 1997, and decided this was also the place for her. We have been lucky enough to have her ever since.
Morning Supervisor: Kelcie Kraft
Kelcie has been at Gingerbread Learning Center for 14 years, and has worked in childcare previously. She is certified in CPR and first aid, and she also has her CDA certification. Kelcie has two teenage daughters of her own. Watching all her students grow is her main love of the job.
